ASCII to HyperText + HyperText to HTML

READ_ME.DOC this file
TXDB125e.ZIP compact HyperText authoring tool,
reader platform and conversion to HTML format
ASC-HTML.DOC step by step: ASCII to HyperText
TXDBGEN.ZIP ASCII to HyperText conversion (expand separate)
- please expand the two *.ZIP files in two separate(!!) subdirectorys
because of identical file names in some example-files,
- test first "TXDB125e.ZIP" and only later the ASCII to HyperText
conversion "TXDBGEN.ZIP", for better understanding,
- read the short "ASC-HTML.DOC", step by step instuctions.
- Environment: MSDOS, Windows-DOS-Window or OS/2-DOS-Window.
In a Windows or OS/2 environment start TXDB in two or more
DOS-windows at the same time, so you can navigate parallel
in different paths in your HyperText.
- TXDB Version 1.25 is FREEWARE, please read the REGISTER.DOC
file in TXDB125e.ZIP, registration of TXDB Version 1.3.
1. compact HyperText System TXDB125e.ZIP

1.1 read "!READ_ME.DOC" first (separate file)
1.2 start with "START2.BAT" for color display,
"START.BAT" monochrome notebook or palmtop,
1.3 if you will convert TXDB to HTML (for INTERNET browsers)
start the "HY-HTML.BAT" file, all *.TXT examples in the
subdirectory will be converted to *.HTM files.

2. ASCII to HyperText conversion TXDBGEN.ZIP

Please test first the TXDB125e.ZIP HyperText System!
Learn the simple operating with TXDB prior to the conversions.
2.1 copy the TXDB.EXE, INTRO-1.TXT and INTRO-2.TXT files
from the "TXDB125e.zip" package into this directory also,
2.2 read TXDBGEN.DOC
2.3 run sample "ASCII to HyperText" with "ASC-HYP.BAT"
